Viridis Safety encourages its staff to develop professionally and to participate in relevant professional membership organisations. Viridis believe that by supporting staff to participate fully in the professional bodies that help to govern the health and safety industry, Viridis will be at the forefront of emerging assessment and control techniques and will be kept abreast of new legislation.

British Occupational Hygiene Society
All Viridis consultants are members of BOHS and, as members of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene, agree to abide by the faculty's code of ethics. A copy of the code of ethics is made available to the public in Appendix 1 of the BOHS Directory of Occupational Hygiene Services. BOHS requires that members of the faculty maintain professional skills and record continuous professional development (CPD) which is periodically reported to BOHS.
Viridis encourage its staff to get involved in BOHS industry engagement activities and initiatives.
Institute of Occupational Safety and Health
All Viridis consultants are members of IOSH thereby agreeing to abide by the IOSH's code of conduct. Breathe Freely Initiative
Viridis are proud to be supporters of BOHS' Breathe Freely, an initiative which engages with the construction industry to assist them in controlling exposures to airborne contaminants and prevent occupational lung disease in construction workers.
Viridis and its staff are long-time supporters of this campaign and showing our support by providing speakers to construction safety groups and construction sector companies across Scotland. Our volunteer speakers are enthusiastically promoting the Breathe Freely message – “that preventing occupational lung disease in construction workers is vital in maintaining a sustainable construction industry in the UK”.

No Time To Lose
Viridis are proud to be supporters of IOSH's No Time To Lose, a campaign which aims to get the causes of occupational cancer better understood and help businesses take action.
Viridis and its staff are engaged with our local IOSH Branch and provide IOSH with experienced presenters to help inform delegates of the risks associated with the cancer causitive factors highlighted by the campaign and of the importance of deploying effective control measures to mitigate these risks. .
